The Yankee Hill Machine Mini QD Muzzle Brake is designed for 9mm pistol-caliber carbines and AR-9 platforms, providing both recoil reduction and quick-detach capability for compatible YHM suppressors. The brake redirects muzzle gases to mitigate felt recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire, while the QD mounting system allows fast suppressor attachment when running a YHM can.

Machined from steel with a durable black finish, this brake threads directly onto 1/2-28 TPI muzzle threads standard on most 9mm barrels. Installation requires proper torque and thread alignment—use of a crush washer or shim kit is recommended to achieve correct timing. The compact design minimizes added length while maintaining full QD functionality.
